The board is currently seeking an individual with demonstrated, excellant management skills and business knowledge for this P/T, 25hr/per week position. Salary starts at $31,000 and is negotiable based on experience. Description Responsibilities include: day-to-day operations and program oversight, volunteer recruitment, budget oversight, report writing, fund raising, grant writing and implementation, community relations, senior advocacy and maintenance of policies and procedures. The Director supports The Board of Directors and attends all Board Meetings. Skills Needed The director must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. The Center computers are Windows-based. Applicants must be able to use this system and be skilled in using Word and Excel. Applicant must also learn and maintain the Center's social media presence and Website. Non-profit or other leadership experience is a plus. A background check is required.
