The members and board of the Greater Northfield Senior Center wish to THANK our community for their participation and support for our first monthly Chicken BBQ Fundraisers!
We also truly appreciate the continued support our community shows to the Center for our monthly spaghetti dinners and quarterly Tag and Bake Sale Fundraisers! We look forward to seeing everyone during the Labor Day festivities.

Sunday 9/6, 9:00 to 3:00
Donations - Bring donations into the center starting Tuesday 9/1 between 8am to 1pm.
Please do not leave donations outside the building.

Friday Sock Hops
Starting Friday September 11 join us
from 9:30 to 10:30 am for Dancing To The Oldies.
If you find yourself moving in rhythm to older songs you hear
on the radio then this group activity is for you.
Come for the music but remember to wear your dancing shoes!

Living With Chronic Pain
Starting in September we will be offering, along with My Healthy Vermont, a free, six-week series on managing these pains and regaining a better quality of life. Review the announcement on our Special Events page and then call the center to reserve one of the limited number spots for this event.

We now only offer Grab and Go Meals and Congregate meals on --
Mondays (Monday and Tuesdays meal), Wednesdays (Wednesday and Thursdays meal) and Fridays.
To reserve meals To Go you must reserve before 9am of the pick-up day.
To reserve a dine in seat we ask that you call a day ahead.
Early reservations are appreciated.
Meal Price Change - Effective July 1 the meal donation will be $6 for those 60+ and $8 for those under 60. this is due to the increased cost of food.
**We will not have meals available to pick up on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Building a Healthier Community, One Meal at a Time!At the Northfield Senior Center, our mission is to enhance the quality of life for seniors and the entire community through a variety of essential services and engaging programs. Our foundation is built on the beloved "Meals on Wheels" program, which ensures that our seniors receive delicious, nutritious meals delivered right to their doorsteps. We currently serve over 1600 meals per month. This vital service not only addresses food insecurity but also fosters connections and combats social isolation.
Other Programs: (see our monthly newsletter – The Clipboard for more current activities and other events!) In addition to our Meals on Wheels meal delivery service, we offer a welcoming space for all ages to gather, socialize, and participate in enriching activities. These include:

Want To Get Involved?
Volunteers Needed We are looking for volunteers to help with various activites. We also need people to help in our kitchen and other areas of the center. Come on and talk with us about what you could do. For more info check here. We offer both dine-in and carry-out meals Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Dine-in meals are served at 11:00AM.
