Our mission: To provide comprehensive social, educational, nutritional, and recreational services to all senior residents in our service area. To provide opportunities for area residents to use their talents, experiences, and training to help themselves and to share their knowledge with others in order to enhance the lives of older persons to remain productive citizens of their community.

Who we areThe Northfield Senior Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit owned by the Greater Northfield Senior Citizens, Inc. The Northfield Senior Center opened its doors at our current location on Wall Street in 1989 and has been serving seniors in the Northfield, Vermont area ever since.

Services providedMembership to the Northfield Senior Center is free and open to any Vermont resident aged 50+. We offer a variety of programming, including health and wellness presentations, exercise classes, foot clinics, free tax assistance, and art classes. We also focus on healthy nutrition for our area seniors, and we serve one hot meal per day as a take-out and also deliver meals to homebound seniors through our Meals on Wheels program.
Hours of Operation: We're open Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. until 1:30 P.M.
