The Vermont Center for Independent Living 'works to promote the dignity, independence, and civil rights of Vermonters with disabilities'. C.E.R.V (Community Emergency Relief Volunteers)

CERV is located right here in Northfield, VT and they provide assistance to those in need in Northfield by operating both a food shelf and a clothing shelf. They also offer some financial assistance to meet emergency needs for families, such as fuel and utilities during the winter months.
