Foot Clinic

Every month we have 2 Foot Clinics. These clinics are by appointment only. We are now scheduling people for every half hour. Beginning in September the fee for clinic appointments will be $40. The grant that had been paying for this service has ended. We are seeking other funding.

Qigong And Tai Chi
The center occasionally offers classes in these two disciplines.
Tai Chi is now offered on Friday afternoons from 1:30 to 2:30.
This is for beginners to intermediate students.

Strong Living
The Strong Living Program has been empowering seniors for over 15 years and was originally developed by Tufts University. The focus of the program is on building core strength, which is crucial for maintaining balance as we age. Participants can choose to use weights (for legs and/or arms) or not—everyone works at their own pace and comfort level.
In addition to the physical benefits, the social aspect of the class is just as uplifting. We enjoy chatting and sharing jokes, because laughter plays an essential role in our overall health. Led by Thelma Baroffio, the class combines both standing and seated exercises, incorporating resistance training, balance, and flexibility.
When: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30 to 9:00 AM

Strength & Stretch
We Seniors come in a variety of ages, shapes, sizes and abilities. You'll Notice that we offer four exercise classes. Each of these programs was developed specifically for Seniors. The side benefit of the classes is the social aspect of spending time with others. The classes are free of charge, although donations are always welcome. No registration is required, just come to a class.

Bingo
Come join us for our weekly Bingo games! Cards are $1 each and light refreshments are available for purchase. All proceeds benefit the Northfield Senior Center.

Painting Group
The center would like to invite all community members to come paint with fellow artists for an afternoon of creativity and painting fun at our drop-in Painting Group. Acrylic paint and easels will be provided, and you are welcome to bring additional supplies. For more information, contact us at 802-485-8112.
